Explosive Faith Through Union With Christ

Recently, in my walk with Christ, I have been noticing a transformation in my faith walk. 

As I lean into God more and more I notice I am experiencing a kind of faith that transcends human striving. It is not worked up through my willpower or performance but it flows effortlessly from intimacy with Jesus.

This is the faith that shakes the earth, and in itself is a faith that cannot be shaken—a faith born in union with Christ, with the One who is Faithful.

Jesus said, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed…nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20).

In His presence, even the smallest seed of faith becomes explosive, because it is infused with His limitless life. Faith is not something we try to generate—it is the natural expression of our oneness with Him.

When we rest in His embrace, when we slow down to meditate on Him, to know Him, to hear His words and feel His heart, our perspective shifts. Suddenly, impossibilities dissolve in the light of His face. Abraham discovered this secret when he “was fully convinced that God was able to do what He had promised” (Romans 4:21, ESV). Abraham's confidence did not rest on his own ability, but on the unshakable goodness of God.

The woman with the issue of blood shows us the same reality. Out of desperation, she reached for Jesus—and in that holy moment of union, power flowed. It was not in her striving but in her heart’s connection to Him by faith that released the miracle (see Mark 5:28–29).

Have you ever experienced where one moment you are wondering "How could this EVER happen?" and in the next minute comes a divine interruption from the Holy Spirit into your being - a revelation from His word that YES, all things are possible?!

Explosive faith is not loud. It is not anxious or desperate. Explosive faith is quiet, secure, confident and radiant. It comes from gazing into the eyes of the One who is always faithful. When our hearts are united with His, faith rises like a flame, consuming fear and releasing Heaven into the earth.

We were made for this. We were made to live from His indwelling presence - to let His life flow through us unhindered.

Jesus said "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." (John 15:5 NKJV)

As you lean back into Him, abiding in His presence, every promise becomes yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). Mountains move. Chains fall. Miracles unfold—simply because Christ in you is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

Take a moment now. Calm yourself as David did. Close your eyes. Breathe Him in. Feel His presence in you, feel His heartbeat within yours. From this place, speak to your mountain to move - not in striving, but in the calm authority of one who knows that He is faithful and He will do it.

Explosive faith is really just this—Jesus living His life through you.
