Immanuel, God With Us

"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14
The greatest desire God has is for you to be with Him.
He loves each of us so much that He sent His Son to be apart from Himself so we can experience oneness with Him.
"There is no power strong enough to divide the Godhead except God's love for you." unknown
Nothing but love would take the risk God made to redeem anyone. He laid His entire self on the line. God so loved the world... that He did it.
In this Christmas season we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the arrival of God's hope and redemption for the world. It's His birth and His death and resurrection that give us the foundation to freely enjoy all the blessings in life that He gives us.
"For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not calamity, to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
As we enjoy what we have now and make plans to accomplish dreams and goals in 2026, let's invite the plans God has for us into our future - His plans to prosper us, to give us life abundantly, and to give us a hopeful future with a glorious end in mind.
Think about what part of your life do you need God's hope to be present in?
What areas do you need God to prosper you in?
Where do you need His life and abundant life to reach into and transform?
Invite Jesus and His promises of Jeremiah 29:11 and John 10:10 into your life now and throughout 2026.
He wants to build your glorious future with you!
If you have not received God's gift of life and would like to receive Jesus as your Saviour and Lord and experience His peace and the abundant life He promises, you can pray this prayer now.
"Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I ask You to forgive me for all the wrong things I have done and I repent, I turn away from the things which harm me and others, and I turn to You. Thank You for the gift of life You give to me. Come into my heart and make me a new person in Christ. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I welcome Holy Spirit to be my Helper, my Comforter, and Teacher who leads me and guides me into all Your truth. Amen."
Where is Jesus now? He's in your heart. You are born again. You are a new creation in Christ. The old things are passed away and behold, the new things have come." 2 Corinthians 5:17
