Important Prophetic Message for Today

Prophets from around the globe agree: we have entered a new era in the church, in nations and in history. This is a time of birthing Reformation & Revival in the earth! I heard the Lord say He is taking His church from Survival to Revival! God is bringing dry bones to life and raising us up as an exceedingly great army! In times of great darkness in the earth God will cause His glory to shine on His church and we will see one of the greatest harvests the earth has ever seen. (Isaiah 60:1-3). Jesus encourages us that the harvest is ripe and plentiful, but the laborers are few. We are to pray for laborers to bring in the harvest of souls, the harvest of miracles and the harvest of blessings and fulfillment God has promised. It’s a time of great change as the church births revival and awakening in the earth!

Yet, in Isaiah 37:3 Hezekiah declared, “for the children are come to birth and there is no strength to bring forth.” This prophecy was given to King Hezekiah, a righteous king who was a reformer of a nation, turning Judah back to God and restoring temple worship. He was the leader of a massive spiritual awakening in Judah, the return of a nation to God. He was faithful to the Lord, and strong in leading his nation in righteousness. Every time God is moving the enemy will launch an attack to try to shut down the move of God.

So while major reformation was taking place in Judah, yet his city (Jerusalem) had become besieged by the cruel King of Assyria, Sennacherib, and was faced with certain destruction if God didn’t intervene (Much as we have in America and in nations of the earth today). Sennacherib was one of the cruelest conquerors in history, leaving terror in his wake of destruction. He destroyed cities and nations and was empowered by demonic spirits of war. It is about him and his besiegement of God’s holy city that Isaiah wrote as a prophetic word of encouragement, “no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against you in judgment you shall condemn” (Is 54:17)

The Rabshakeh Assignment

I had a dream where a spiritual assignment was sent against a godly leader and reformer. The enemy’s name was Rabshakeh and he was coming to spread poison on the back of the leader and then take a rod and beat his back, driving the poison in until this reformer broke.. (The back represents the place of a man’s strength. Isaiah 22 talks about the burden in the valley of the vision. The back was where Jesus was beaten so that we can receive our healing. But the enemy wanted to beat him down, afflict him with poison, rob from him & destroy him.). But before Rabshakeh could complete his mission of destruction we alerted the authorities who captured him. They then led us out and put the enemy’s rods in our hands to beat his back!

What does this dream have to do with the story of the besiegement of Jerusalem? It turns out that Rabshakeh was the emissary of Sennacherib, his mouthpiece, sent to demoralize Hezekiah and his armies, trying to get them to give up, lay down their weapons and surrender the city. He tried to convince Hezekiah and his leaders that God had forsaken them and would not save them. His words were designed to break the spirit and the will of the people and get them to lay down their arms and give up.

Rabshakeh’s name means “chief prince” and is a demonic assignment against true reformers, leaders and even nations today. Rabshakeh filled the air with accusations against who God is, against who the leaders were, about Hezekiah’s failure in leadership, and about the impossibility of their situation. He was “prophe-lying” a destiny of bondage over a nation. He even “prophe-lied” that God was the one who had sent them to destroy Judah. Understand he was seeking to spread poison, lies, and get in their heads so that they would be beaten down and submit to giving up and being overthrown. Don’t let the enemy get in your head! There is a demonic mind control that is trying to talk believers out of their destinies on an individual basis and even try to bring nations into subjection and submission. He will try to convince you that all your works of righteousness and reformation have been for nothing and that in the end God will abandon you and not hear your prayers. He will try to wear you down & wear you out with these accusations, intimidations & frustrations so that all your strength to birth and fulfill your calling is exhausted. Rather than being a nation changer you just seek to survive. Is it possible to be pregnant with reformation and vision and not have strength to bring it forth? Is it possible to be pregnant with your miracle answer and it be aborted or still born because you give up or get so consumed with problems that you lose your focus or your faith in God? Is it possible to no longer have strength to stand for the destiny of your nation because of mental exhaustion of contending or the constant onslaught of the negative narrative.

The Decade of Peh – The Voice War!

We have not only entered a new era, but a new decade. We are in the Hebraic decade of the 5780’s. 80 is the Hebrew word “Peh” which means mouth. This is a time to listen for the words that come from the mouth of God. His voice always brings victory! We must also be aware of what our own mouths are saying. Are our words aligning with a God’s words? But we also need to be aware and alert to what is coming out of the enemy’s mouth! We need to be aware of the enemy’s tactics on a personal level but also need to be aware of the global affect of this spirit on nations.

Rabshakeh was the mouth of Sennacherib, or if you will, the voice of the devil. He sought to get in the heads of God’s reformers, tried to define the narrative, beating them down with relentlessly filling the atmosphere with lies and accusations. Beware of what you hear and what you believe, for Rabshakeh is active as the devil’s mouth to beat down God’s anointed. He seeks to control the narrative and bring people into alignment and agreement through promoting the inevitability of defeat. On the world scene this demonic spirit seeks to promote the idea of inevitability of wars, take over of nations and a global shift. We must stand against ungodly, anti-Christ agenda’s and the narratives that promote the inevitability of defeat.

I had my own personal battle with this spirit after the dream. I experienced strange sicknesses, weariness and relentless accusatory thoughts bombarding my mind. It was one of the most powerful demonic attacks I have ever experienced. My husband and leaders prayed for me and I took captive every thought and made it obedient to Christ (2 Cor. 10:5) and experienced victory. But it was pretty intense.

The Voice War

There is a voice war raging in the nations right now. The enemy seeks to control nations through controlling the narrative. Complicit media is being controlled by this spirit, advancing false, ungodly narratives, attempting to shift nations. Every time we turn on the TV to watch news we are assaulted by an antichrist Rabshakeh barrage of words. The goals is to get believers and reformers to wear out, break down and quit. I believe this demonic assignment is what is fueling much of the biased news today, and is even empowering the besiegement in our nation. The church must unite to stand against this demonic attack to see righteousness and justice once again established in our land. We are at a tipping point in this new era and must react and respond differently and more proactively than any other time in history,

From Besiegement to Breakthrough!

But rather than let Rabshakeh and his poisonous words of accusation & mind binding rob them of their land, Hezekiah set himself to seek the Lord and to pray. He encouraged his people with these faith filled words from his mouth in the midst of desperate times: Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. 2 Chronicles 32:7-8. The church would do well to allow these words to encourage us during these challenging times.

Hezekiah laid the accusations of the enemy on the altar and cried out to God. I felt the Lord challenge me that often we come to the altar, but it is actually an altar made out of our questions, “whys” and offense because God allowed hard things to happen. We feel we are coming to pray, but we may be actually coming to complain and accuse God! I really felt God say these are idolatrous altars of our own making and must be torn down. We must stop asking why and instead repent and put our trust in the Lord. God is after our hearts in this season and stands ready to answer our cry, however, we must humble ourselves as Hezekiah did and then he saw God’s mighty deliverance.

As Hezekiah prayed, he also sent for Isaiah the prophet to get a Word from God for them. This is the synergy that comes when government, prayer & the prophetic anointing create a dynamic for breakthrough. Isaiah came and told Hezekiah the Lord had heard his prayers. He would defend the city! He then released a prophetic declaration of breakthrough that sounded impossible with the encouragement that God would fight for them. It was a prophecy but it was also a decree that set limits and boundaries on what the enemy could do. “Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria: ‘He shall not come into this city, Nor shoot an arrow there, Nor come before it with shield, Nor build a siege mound against it. By the way that he came, By the same shall he return; And he shall not come into this city,’ Says the Lord. ‘For I will defend this city, to save it For My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.” (Isaiah 37:33-35 NKJV)

That night God sent an angel down who wiped out 185,000 Assyrians! Rabshakeh and Sennacherib both returned to their own country only to be killed by their own people. God fought for Judah! Dedicated prayer and powerful prophetic decrees shifted the battle and brought heavenly intervention! Victory was manifested as God mobilized the angel armies to disrupt the narrative and overthrow the enemy.

As we position ourselves as Hezekiah did and set ourselves to seek the Lord in intercession, then to hear the prophetic word of the Lord over our lives and nations and to put our trust in Him to fight for us, we will see every voice of the Accuser struck down, every mind binding spirit broken, every besiegement destroyed, every false narrative exposed and every thing stolen returned in abundance. Hezekiah’s name means “Jehovah is my strength.” In this time of contending for the kingdom of God to be advanced in the earth, God will restore our strength physically, emotionally and spiritually so we can run the race we are called to and even see nations shift.

The Voice of the Lord Shatters the Enemy!

If you recall at the end of my dream the rod of punishment which the enemy sought to use against the leader was instead used on his own back! The Lord turned the evil the enemy meant against the leader back on his own head! Isaiah also prophesied about this, which is part of God’s battle strategy for us today to break out of the survival of besiegement into revival for a new day. . The Voice of the Lord will shatter the Assyrian (your enemy), with His scepter He will strike him down. Every stroke the Lord lays on the back of the enemy with His punishing rod will be to the music of tambourines and harps as he fights him in battle with the blows of His arm! (Isaiah 30:31 NIV). The Voice of the Lord & our praise is a weapon!

So rise up Reformers! Lift up your heads Leaders! Seek the Lord and hear His voice. Whatever it is that you are battling, shake off every shroud of discouragement and fear, resist every Rabshakeh assignment to get in your head through accusations and lies and voice of the Lord will shatter your enemy! War a warfare with your prophecies! And every tongue (Rabshakeh) that has risen up against you shall be condemned. Today is the day God is arising to send down angel armies to fight for you!

Rise up Hezekiahs and Isaiahs and prophetically disrupt the demonic narrative that is being released against nations. All Fake News and Cancel Culture that has been empowered by this Rabshakeh assignment is being broken apart by the prayer, intercession and prophetic decrees of God’s leaders. Let the Voice of the Lord be louder than the voice of the enemy!
